Balance Energy is an Australian based engineering firm founded in 2002, specialising in industrial energy and energy productivity, operating nationally and internationally.

We serve leading companies in pulp & paper, oil & gas, mining, heavy rail, minerals processing (pyrometalurgy/smelting), food production, process and manufacturing.

We have a deep understanding of energy supply options including renewables available for industry; with our experience recognised by the appointment of our Managing Director to the funding review panel of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).

Our extensive history of on-site implementation of energy cost reducing technologies and the industry-based experience of our staff, ensures that our services are cognisant of the practical challenges of operating on the most sensitive, tricky and/or remote sites.

We have analysed some of the world’s most complex sites and have implemented a range of measures for companies such as BHP-Billiton, RioTinto, Santos, Newmont, Newcrest, Visy Industries, General Motors – Holden, Trans-Alta, Ford Motor Company and Mitsubishi Motors.

We have a proven tradition of practical innovation, with innovations in paint shop ventilation control (used across 3 companies and on multiple plants), compressor bypass recovery, mining dewatering and others.

We have on-site supplier status on "Tier 1" sites.
